2 C sugar 1 C butter 1 C sour cream 2 eggs 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 4 1/2 C flour

cream sugar and butter very well. add sour cream and eggs, and beat well. add dry ingredients and mix well. refrigerate 1 hour. roll out dough and keep it thick. bake 350 for 11 minutes. Notes: for frosting, mix 1/2 C butter, 1/2 bag powdered sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla. Add 1/4 to 1/3 C milk. Whip this good, add more milk until you reach desired consistency.
