2/3 cup softened butter. Cream then add 1 cup sugar In another bowl, mix together 3 eggs and 1 2/3 cup milk. In yet another bowl, mix 2 1/3 cups flour 1 cup corn meal 4 1/2 t baking powder 1 t salt Add liquid mixture and dry mixture alternately with the creamed mixture. Pour into 9x13 greased pan. Bake 400°, 22 to 27 minutes till toothpick comes out clean.
