One per line
1 lb steak (I use round, london broil or something similar) 4 T shortening 2 T flour 1 cup ketchup 10 T soy sauce 1/4 t pepper 2 beef bouillon cubes 1/2 cup finely chopped onion (can use handful of dried chopped onion) 1 green pepper cut in strips or pieces 1 cup water 1 can mushrooms drained

Brown steak in 1 T of shortening. Remove meat. Blend in 3 T shortening and flour with the meat juices. Add rest of ingredients and put steak back in. Cook 30 to 45 minutes on low. Add another cup of water while cooking and more if it becomes to thick. It should be nice and saucy. Serve over rice.
