5 C rice krispies 1 C sugar 1 C corn syrup (karo syrup) 1 C peanut butter 1 C peanuts 1 C chocolate chips

Butter the insides of a big bowl. Butter a 9 X 13 inch cooking pan (cake pan size). Put 5 cups of rice krispies in buttered bowl. Boil 1 cup sugar and 1 cup corn syrup (Karo syrup). When it just starts to boil, add 1 cup of peanut butter and 1 cup of peanuts. Stir until melted. Pour mixture over rice krispies and stir. Pour into buttered cooking pan and flatten out with buttered spoon or buttered hands. Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips (or any kind of chocolate you have, or a good mix is some butterscotch chips and some chocolate chips) in microwave and pour over bars. Spread over top, let cool and then cut into squares.
