Ingredients
One per line
1 package crescent rolls (8) 1 C cooked, diced chicken 3 oz. cream cheese 1 T. minced onion 1 T. milk 2 T. butter or margarine, melted 1/4 tsp. salt â…› tsp. pepper
Directions
One per line
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray cookie sheet or casserole dish lightly with cooking spray. Mix all ingredients, except for crescent rolls. Pull rolls apart into four sections, leaving two "triangles" together in each section to form a rectangle. Drop filling by spoonfuls onto bottom half of dough rectangle, then cover with the top half of the dough and seal the edges. Put "pockets" on cookie sheet or casserole dish, and bake 15-20 minutes. Makes 4. Notes: I always double this recipe to have leftovers for lunches. I serve this dish with rice and usually make a "creamy chicken sauce" to go over both. For sauce, mix and heat 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1/2 can milk. By Mindy Staten
