Ingredients
One per line
1 Pork Loin (Or tenderloins, or pork sirloin tip toast or shoulder roast) 1 Bottle World Harbors Guadalupe Mountain Fajita Sauce and Marinade (This can usually be found at Albertson's, Smith's, Macey's etc.)
Directions
One per line
Put the Pork Loin in the Crock Pot. Pour the Fajita Sauce over. Refill the Fajita sauce bottle with water and add to the Crock Pot. Add 3/4 cup brown sugar. Add heaping tablespoon minced onions. Sprinkle garlic powder. Cook for 10-12 hours on low. It will shred as you touch it. I usually check to make sure there is plenty of liquid. If it looks like it has evaporated too much, I just add more water. When it is finished cooking, I just shred the meat right in the pot with the sauce. Serve in Taco Salads with Cilantro Lime Rice, Black beans, Corn, the shredded pork, lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sliced olives, sour cream, salsa, etc. Choose which toppings you like! We like Creamy Cilantro Dressing. Notes: This is also good to make Burritos. -Annette Moon Shelly's Notes: If using a regular 4 lb pork loin (not seasoned), adjust seasonings to 3 heaping T dried onion, and 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Tip: put side with most fat face down at bottom of crock pot, then put seasonings on top. After pork is done, remove layer of fat with fork, it comes off easily in chunks. If using 3.5 lb frozen shoulder roast, put directly in crock pot from freezer and cook on low for 12 hours.
