1 1/4 c butter, softened to room temp 2 c powdered sugar 1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 c sour cream or plain yogurt 1 tsp vanilla 2 1/4 c all purpose flour 2 c semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips 1/3 c cocoa powder for rolling 2/3 c powdered sugar for rolling

preheat oven to 325°. spray cookie sheets. cream together butter and powdered sugar, slowly add cocoa powder and salt. mix until combined, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. beat sour cream and vanilla, and add flour, stir in chocolate chips. shape dough into 1 inch balls. roll each ball in cocoa powder, place on baking sheet. bake 9-10 minutes, they will barely set but you don't want them overcooked or they will be dry. let cool on baking sheet 3-5 minutes and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. once cookies have cooled to room temp, dip or roll each cookie in powdered sugar until coated. Store in airtight container in the fridge,
