Ingredients:
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1½ cups oatmeal
  • 2 #303 cans cherry pie filling
Directions:
  1. Sift the first four ingredients.
  2. Mix butter into dry ingredients as if making pie dough.
  3. Add sugar and oatmeal.
  4. Spread ¾ of the crumb mixture into a 13 × 9-inch pan.
  5. Pour pie filling over the crumb mixture and spread evenly.
  6. Cover with remaining crumbs.
  7. Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
