Ingredients:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 ¾ cup flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa
  • 1 ½ t baking powder
  • 1 ½ t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 1 cup boiling water
Directions:
  1. Mix the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the liquids and mix.
  3. Cook in a 9x13 pan for 35-40 minutes at 350°(in Shelly's oven it takes 40 min), or 2 8 inch rounds for 30-33 minutes, or 2 9 inch rounds for about 30 minutes, or 3 6 inch pans for 31 min.

  5. Use one large cookie scoop to fill.
  6. Bake 20-25 min.
  7. Yields 32 cupcakes.
  8. Frost with the frosting below after cooling.

  10. ½ cup butter
  11. â…” cup cocoa
  12. 4 cups powdered sugar
  13. ½ cup evaporated milk
  14. 1 t vanilla
  15. Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Add pd sugar and milk alternately, beating til spreading sonsistency. Add vanilla. Can add more milk if necessary.
