Ingredients:
  • 3-4 pound brisket, rump roast or pot roast
  • 2-3 potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 2-3 carrots peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • ½ cup water or beef consomm
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
  1. Put vegetables in bottom of crock pot.
  2. Salt and pepper meat, then place in pot.
  3. Add liquid.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours. (High 4-5)
  5. Notes:
  6. Meats are usually more tender if cooked on low.
