Ingredients:
  • 2 c unsalted butter
  • 6 c powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp clear vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 3-4 T heavy whipping cream
Directions:
  1. Whip butter really well, 2-3 minutes, it will get lighter in color.
  2. slowly add powdered sugar.
  3. add clear vanilla, salt
  4. if you'd like stiffer frosting add less whipping cream
  5. scrape down sides of bowl.
  6. whip on medium high speed for 3-5 minutes and lighten in color.
  7. this will frost a 6 inch round 3 layer cake
