Hershey's best brownies Edit Tags: Desserts

Ingredients:- 1 c butter
- 2 c sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- ¾ c Hershey's cocoa
- 1 c flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 c chopped nuts (optional) I used pecans
- 1 c chocolate chips (optional)
- frosting:
- 6 T butter, softened
- 6 T Hershey's cocoa
- 2 T light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c powdered sugar
- 2-4 T milk
Directions:

pre-heat oven to 350.

Grease a 13x9 inch pan.

Place butter in a microwave safe bowl.

Melt butter, stir in sugar and vanilla.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with a spoon or whisk until blended.

Add cocoa, blend well.

Add flour, baking powder and salt, beat well.

Stir in nuts, and chocolate chips if desired.

Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake 30-35 min, or until brownies pull away from sides of pan.

Cool completely on wire rack.

Frosting directions:
-
beat butter, cocoa, corn syrup, and vanilla in small bowl until blended.

Add powdered sugar and milk, beat to spreading consistency.

Spread on cooled brownies.
