Ingredients:
  • 3 c long grain white rice
  • 6 c water
  • salt
Directions:
  1. Add all the rice and water to a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add salt.
  4. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 18 minutes.
  5. Don't lift lid until cooking is done, and don't stir yet.
  6. Turn off heat, let rice rest with lid on for 10 minutes.
  7. Fluff rice with a fork.
