Ingredients:- 1 box favorite brownie mix (Ghiardelli or Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Chunk)
- big handful milk chocolate chips
- â…“ c chopped pecans (optional)
- Chocolate caramel buttercream:
- 4 ounces semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- â…› cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cups butter slightly chilled
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup salted caramel (can use any caramel you have)
- chopped Reese's
Directions:

Make brownies according to box instructions in a 8x8 metal pan.

For the frosting:

In a microwave safe bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream and chocolate chips.

Microwave for about 60 seconds and stir until smooth.

Allow to cool to room temperature before using.

In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium-high speed until smooth.

Add the chocolate ganache and beat until smooth.

With the mixer on low speed, gradually add powdered sugar and the caramel and beat until smooth.

let cool, then add frosting.

Add chopped Reese's.

If making cupcakes- add batter to cupcake liners â…” full.

Bake 22-26 min until toothpick comes out with only a few crumbs.

Don't overbake, you can take them out of oven, leave them in pan to continue baking if there are a few crumbs on toothpick.
