Spinach Orzo Edit Tags: Appetizers
Ingredients:- 1 tsp butter
- 1 cl garlic, finely chopped
- ½ C shredded carrot
- 2 C chicken broth
- 1 C uncooked orzo (6 ounces)
- 1 ½ C thinly sliced spinach
- 2 T parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

Melt butter in 3 qt saucepan.

Cook garlic and carrot in butter 2 min.

Stir in broth, pasta and spinach.

Heat to boiling.

Cover and simmer 15-20 min, stirring occasionally.

Stir in remaining ingredients before serving.
