Baked Elegant French Toast

Directions:
Make this the night before
Cut 1 & ½ loaves of French Bread into 1" slices.
Arrange double layered in a well-buttered 9x13 pan.
Beat 7 eggs
Add 1 ½ cups of Half & Half
2 cups milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla
Mix well and pour over French bread.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Next day
Heat oven to 350°.
Mix ½ cup melted butter
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped pecans.
Spread over French bread.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
Take foil off and cook for 20 more minutes. Serve immediately.
