2 1/2 C hot water 1/3 C sugar 1/3 C oil 1 T salt mix above ingredients in kitchen aid mixer for 30 seconds. Add 3/4 C bread flour Mix 30 seconds. Add 1 1/2 T yeast Mix 30 seconds. Add 1 C bread flour 4 C wheat flour (Shelly's favorite combo is 3 C wheat flour, and 1 C white flour) Additional recipe option that Tara uses: 4 C whole wheat flour 1/4 c agave (instead of 1/3 C sugar) 1/3 C olive oil (instead of 1/3 C canola or vegetable oil)

Mix really well. Cover. Let rise 25 minutes While rising, grease and flour 2 bread pans. After 25 minutes, divide dough into 2 pieces. Roll dough and put in both pans. Place bread in cool oven. Turn it on to 170°. Let rise for 25 minutes. Increase temperature to 325°. Bake 25-30 minutes. Note: if using the kitchen-aid, do not double recipe, it doesn't fit! (just make the regular recipe which yields 2 loaves)
