3-4 pound brisket, rump roast or pot roast 2-3 potatoes peeled and sliced 2-3 carrots peeled and sliced 1 onion sliced 1/2 cup water or beef consomm salt and pepper to taste

Put vegetables in bottom of crock pot. Salt and pepper meat, then place in pot. Add liquid. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours. (High 4-5) Notes: Meats are usually more tender if cooked on low. -Annette Moon
