1/2 cup warm water 2 Tablespoons margarine 1 Tablespoon salt 1 3/4 c. very warm water 3 Tablespoons sugar 2 pkg. Yeast or 2 Tablespoons 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour Topping (melt in saucepan) 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 to 1/2 cup cube margarine Tablespoon dried parsley
Directions

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the sugar. Let rise until bubbly. Mix in rest of ingredients with spoon (use about 1/2 of flour at this time). Knead in rest of flour. Let rest 10 minutes. Roll out with hands into long skinny rolls. Lay, side by side, in greased 18" x 11" inch pan. Brush with topping. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese (optional). Let rise 10 to 15 minutes. Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes, or until light brown. (Makes 18 to 20, by Amy Bartholomew)
