Ingredients
One per line
12 egg Yolks 1 ½ c sugar 1 quart heavy cream 1 T Vanilla 8 cups bread cubes 2 cups cranberries 2 cups White Chocolate Chips
Directions
One per line
Combine sugar, cream and vanilla in a sauce pan and bring to a light boil. Turn off heat. Temper the cream by slowly adding the yolks a little at a time, stirring constantly! Return to heat and bring to a light simmer, stirring constantly being careful not to boil. In a large bowl, place the bread pieces and add come of the cream mixture to moisten. Do this a little at a time to avoid over-wetting the bread. Add cranberries and white chocolate chips and stir to combine. Place in a 9x13 lightly buttered baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until set and golden brown. ( about 20-30 minutes) Serve warm with the rest of the vanilla cream sauce. Tastes really good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream too!
