Ingredients
One per line
1 20 oz can Pineapple Chunks Grapes-Red and Green Strawberries Bananas Optional:Fresh peaches or canned mandarin oranges drained, small colored marshmallows corn starch 3/4 cup sugar Juice of 1 orange (or 1/2 inch orange juice concentrate or 1/2 cup orange juice. Juice of 1 lemon (or 3 Tablespoons lemon juice or lemonade concentrate or 1/2 cup lemonade.)
Directions
One per line
Drain pineapple Add juice from pineapple to the other juices. Heat the juices with 3/4 C sugar and cook on medium heat. While it is heating, mix 2 heaping Tbsp cornstarch with 1/2 C water. Just before the juices are about to boil, add the cornstarch mixture to the pan stirring constantly. Stir until it starts to thicken and boil. Cool 5 min. Pour glaze over pineapple. Allow to cool. Just before eating, add the other fruits and mix. Note: I will usually make the glaze several hours before we want to eat, even as early as morning and let the glaze and pineapple cool on the counter. I don't add the other fruit until just before eating.
