1 tsp butter 1 cl garlic, finely chopped 1/2 C shredded carrot 2 C chicken broth 1 C uncooked orzo (6 ounces) 1 1/2 C thinly sliced spinach 2 T parmesan cheese 1 tsp dried basil leaves Salt and pepper to taste
Directions

Melt butter in 3 qt saucepan. Cook garlic and carrot in butter 2 min. Stir in broth, pasta and spinach. Heat to boiling. Cover and simmer 15-20 min, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining ingredients before serving.
